WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Goldeyes outfielder Willie Cabrera and outfielder/first baseman David Rohm have been named American Association Postseason All-Stars.
A total of nine players from across the league were honoured for their accomplishments this year. Both Cabrera and Rohm were also chosen to play in last month’s All-Star Game.

Cabrera currently sits second in the league with 73 RBI. The 30-year-old has a .313 batting average along with 16 home runs and 103 hits in 86 games this season. Cabrera was acquired by the Goldeyes in a trade with the Joplin Blasters in July.

Rohm ranks fourth in the American Association with a .336 batting average. He has also put together three double-digit hitting streaks this season. Rohm was named the All-Star Game MVP following a two hits, two RBI and a stolen base performance.
Former Goldeyes Luis Alen, Josh Mazzola and Nate Samson were also named all-stars.
