A little girl was rushed to hospital Monday after a tree fell on top of her west of Calgary.
EMS spokesperson Adam Loria said the incident happened just before 11:45 a.m.
“A school-aged girl was rushed to hospital by STARS [Air Ambulance] in potentially life-threatening condition,” he said. “She suffered serious injuries.”
The incident happened on Pears Road near Waiparous.

A neighbour that did not wish to be identified said the family is in very rough shape, but would not go into specific details on what happened.
