There were no injuries reported, but police have apprehended the driver for investigation.

This comes just two months after a 16-year-old unlicensed driver crashed a Porsche into a garage while trying to park in Vancouver. The incident was caught on camera and led police to connect the driver with a previous hit-and-run.

That driver is now facing multiple charges under the Motor Vehicle Act, including a hit-and-run and driving without a license.

An earlier incident this spring also included a young driver who was caught speeding at 147 km/h in an 80 km/h zone in Mission. The driver, who only had an “L” license, had his vehicle impounded.
