Car hits building in Saskatoon, lands on parked vehicle

Speed is believed to be a factor after a car struck the Inn on College building in Saskatoon and landed on top of another vehicle in a parking lot.

The crash happened at around 3:20 a.m. CT in the 1000-block of College Drive.

Police said the car hit the building before landing on top of a parked vehicle.

The parked vehicle was vacant and no one inside the building was injured.

The driver of the car was later found at a hospital where he had gone to seek medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Members of the collision analyst unit continue to investigate.

No charges have been laid at this time.
