Pedestrian struck and killed by car in Winnipeg identified by police

WINNIPEG — A woman who died after being struck by a car Monday afternoon has been identified as Sharon Strong, 58.

Strong was struck by a Toyota Camry while she was walking in a parking lot according to police. She sustained serious injuries and later died.

The driver of the car has been identified as an adult woman.
