Saskatoon police have a man in custody after a gun was allegedly aimed at people in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood.
Officers were called out to the 900-block of Avenue C North at around 9:45 p.m. CT on Tuesday after a 911 caller stated a man had approached people outside a home and pointed a firearm.
No one was injured.
He left the area driving a white Dodge Journey.
Then Wednesday at around 4:40 a.m., police were called back after witnesses reported seeing the vehicle in the area.
Responding officers located the vehicle with two men inside. One matched the description of the man alleged to have pointed the firearm.
Police said they seized two knives and a hatchet during a search of the vehicle but no firearm was found.
A 31-year-old man is facing charges of pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and breach of recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Saskatoon provincial court.
