RCMP were called to a home in Manola early Wednesday morning for reports of a man being shot.
When police arrived, they found a man dead inside.
“This does not appear to have been a random incident,” RCMP said.

A man has been arrested in relation to the investigation, but no charges have been laid yet.
The victim’s name has not been released.
Edmonton’s Major Crimes Unit along with the Forensic Identification Section, are assisting the Barrhead RCMP Detachment in the investigation.
Manola is 109 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
