The B.C. Coroners Service has identified the man whose body was pulled from Skaha Lake on the B.C. Day long weekend Saturday.
Regional coroner Larry Marzinzik said the 69-year-old Edmonton man was vacationing at Sudbury Beach on Skaha Lake.

Ilas Bajramoski was last seen in the early afternoon in the lake with an air mattress, according to Marzinzik.
“He was observed an hour later unresponsive in the water approximately 60 feet from shore.”
“Mr. Bajramoski was transported to the dock by boat, however resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
The coroners service is continuing its investigation into his death.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first drowning that’s happened in that area this summer.

It was less than a month ago, off the same beach, that the body of a 33-year-old tourist was also pulled from the water.
