Mounties in St. Paul, Alta., the Major Crimes Unit and the Chief Medical Examiner from Edmonton are investigating the death of a 43-year-old man.
RCMP said the death is related to “an altercation that occurred on the afternoon of July 30 in St. Paul.”
The man was taken to hospital in Edmonton for treatment and died Sunday.
RCMP have not determined if his death is criminal, but continue to investigate.
They want to speak with anyone who may have witnessed an incident behind the post office in St. Paul between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
St. Paul is about 200 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
