WINNIPEG — Monday is Terry Fox Day, which means there will be some changes in hours for services and stores.
Major shopping centres will be open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
If you’re hoping to pick up food for a long weekend BBQ, most grocery stores will be open 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.
All Manitoba Liquor Marts will be open from 10 a.m to 6 p.m., except for the location in Cityplace, which will be closed.
Winnipeg Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule, and garbage and recycling will be collected as normally scheduled.
All city indoor pools, libraries and leisure centres will be closed. However outdoor pools, wading pools and spray pads will be open from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m., weather dependent.
City golf courses will also be open.
