Rogers Cup: Canadian tennis fans cheer on Eugenie Bouchard

Round three tennis matches were underway Thursday at Montreal’s Rogers Cup with the sport’s top women from around the world competed for the $2.4 million prize.

Tennis fans are cheering on Montreal native Eugenie Bouchard, the only Canadian woman left in the tournament.

The crowd favourite is building off her momentum after Wednesday’s big victory over number 10 seed, Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia, in 6-2, 6-0.

Aside from the tennis matches, there are many fun things the whole family can enjoy.

Fans are keeping busy with the tournament’s off court activities: including a massage booth, manicure center, soda samples and more.

The Rogers Cup is the last event for Venus Williams, who will be heading to compete in the Rio Olympics.
