Exclusive: What games are inmates playing in Manitoba jails?

WINNIPEG – Manitoba Justice has released its list of video games played in some Manitoba prisons to Global News. The release came after Global News filed a Freedom of Information Request.

Inmates at the Headingley Correctional Centre, Women’s Correctional Centre and Agassiz Youth Centre do have limited use of Sony Playstation or Nintendo Wii video game consoles. Officials said access to video games is considered a privilege and inmates have to exhibit appropriate behavior before earning the privilege.

All games available are rated E (for everyone) with a few games rated T (for teen).
