A reporter attending a U.S. State Department briefing on ISIS was called out for playing Pokemon Go on Thursday.
State Department spokesman John Kirby was detailing the latest on the fight against ISIS when he stopped mid-sentence after he noticed the unnamed reporter looking for Pokemon on his phone.

“You’re playing the Pokemon thing right there, aren’t you?” Kirby asked, pointing at the reporter.
“Whoops. I’m just keeping an eye on it,” the journalist responded.
Kirby continued with his ISIS update, but before he turned to the gallery to take questions he asked the same reporter, “did you get one?”

The reporter said he couldn’t catch any of the mystical creatures because “the signal’s not very good.”
“I’m sorry about that,” Kirby responded.
This isn’t the first time someone has been caught playing Pokemon Go during an inappropriate situation.
Recently, a wanted criminal was caught playing the game outside a police station, and a Canadian prankster was seen walking along subway tracks in Toronto while looking for the digital creatures.
