A 28-year-old woman was rushed to hospital in serious condition after being stabbed outside an apartment building near Toronto’s Distillery District early Friday morning.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. at Princess Street and The Esplanade.

Officers arrived on scene and located a female victim with a stab wound to the neck. She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect fled in what appeared to be a yellow vehicle.
The suspect’s description has not been released and the investigation is ongoing.
