On Saturday, June 25 around 4 p.m., the boy was walking alone in the area of Simpson Avenue and Besant Street when an unknown male approached him in a vehicle and attempted to drag him inside. The victim was able to escape and notified a parent, but did sustain a minor injury.
The suspect is described as around 24-years-old, medium build and between six-foot-three and six-foot-six in height. Police also said the suspect has tall, dark medium length hair, a dark thin goatee and moustache and stained, yellowing teeth, with some missing.
He also had a white-and-black tattoo of a cross on his right forearm, with a chain design looping through it.
