Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow appears to be having a love affair with Newfoundland’s Fogo Island.
Over the weekend, the Iron Man actress posted several Instagram shots of her time at the Fogo Island Inn, a remote but modern and beautiful spot.
Shortly after the snaps appeared online, “Fogo Island” started trending on Twitter.

The Goop founder shared a short video of a crackling fire near the shore, with a sunset visible in the background.
Fogo Island is off the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland and is a remote yet accessible island with the length about 35 kilometers from east to west and 24 kilometers from north to south.
The island has the population of 2,395 people and claims to experience seven different seasons every year consisting of warm summers, snowy winters, ice season, spring, trap berth season, berry season, and late autumn.

The contemporary inn, where Gwyneth stayed, was founded by Canadian businesswoman Zita Cobb and rents spaces from $2,475.
The famous inn has been featured in hundreds of publications worldwide including The New York Times Magazine, Forbes Life and National Geographic.
It’s become such an “it” destination that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took his family to Fogo around Easter. Many people have even begun sharing their travel experiences to the Island on social.
