A southern Alberta couple convicted of failing to provide the necessaries of life after their 18-month-old son died of bacterial meningitis, is appealing their conviction.
A lawyer for David and Collet Stephan said his clients intend to argue that the judge was “unfair” in his legal instructions to the jury.
