The woman called police and she and the man were located on Barrington Street, near Duke Street, Staff Sgt. Greg Mason said in the emailed report.

Police say the man was taken into custody without incident, he is expected to appear in court on September 8.

This is the second reported case in the last two months of an alleged sexual assault by a cab driver. In early June, police launched an investigation into a complaint of a taxi driver sexually assaulting a passenger. Police couldn’t comment Saturday on the status of that case.
