The strange series of events went down just before 11 a.m. April 23, 2015. Police say a man driving a Ford SUV failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Pandosy Street. He then hit the cab, turned into the parking lot of Lakeview Market and smashed his vehicle through the front window. The man then drove away but police made an arrest shortly after.

Mitchell is scheduled to appear in Kelowna court Thursday.
