It is an issue that has pitted the taxi industry against the provincial government and now we are learning that ride-sharing service regulations could end up as an election issue.
The provincial government now says it is likely it will table a plan before next May’s election.

The province has been getting input from various stakeholders and a discussion paper will be presented in September.
