Okanagan search crews have recovered a man’s body below one of the Myra Canyon Trestles.
Hikers discovered the man while walking on the trestles Monday afternoon.
The middle-aged man’s identity has yet to be released. Officials also haven’t confirmed how he died, but say foul play has been ruled out.
Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) was called out Monday evening to recover his body, but weren’t able to safely do so at night.
COSAR and Penticton Search and Rescue retrieved the man’s body Tuesday afternoon.
Police have passed the investigation on to the B.C. Coroners Service.
