Austin Vielle, who is charged with three counts of second-degree murder, will go to trial from January 8 to March 2, 2018.
He has chosen to have his charges heard by judge and jury.
Vielle has pleaded not guilty to three counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of 27-year-old Kyle Devine, his girlfriend, 24-year-old Clarissa English and her brother, 18-year-old Dakota English.
Their deaths were the first ever recorded triple-homicide in Lethbridge’s history.
In the early morning hours of April 28, 2015 officers were called to a home on McGill Boulevard West by a concerned neighbour. When police arrived, they found one woman and two men dead inside the home.
An autopsy confirmed all three had been murdered.
Almost two weeks later, police arrested Vielle and he was charged with three counts of second-degree murder.
