“The individual is still in hospital and should be for a few more days,” said RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Clarke.

So far, no arrests have been made.

“We’re continuing our investigation and really hoping that someone from the public has information and will come to us with that information to help us further our investigation,” said Cpl. Clarke.

RCMP are not linking the recent shooting to the homicide of Daverico Downey, who was killed in North Preston in late April.
