Police seek woman in connection to Tyler Sanderson homicide

Calgary police are looking to the public for help locating a woman believed to know more about the death of a young man in Marlborough Park last month.

Officers were called to the 5500 block of Maddock Drive N.E. at around 9:15 p.m. on May 15 for reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, police discovered Tyler Sanderson suffering from serious injuries after he had been assaulted. He was rushed to hospital but later died.

On Wednesday, police announced they were searching for 34-year-old Lori Ann Heavenfire, saying she may have information critical to the ongoing investigation.

Heavenfire is wanted on warrants for breach of conditions.

Police believe she may be in Calgary or one of the neighbouring communities, and might be driving a 2001 black BMW 320i with Alberta license plate BRX4109.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Heavenfire is asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or contact Crime Stoppers.
