According to CBS Miami, it’s estimated that the enormous alligator is about 14- to 15-feet long.
Charles Helms was at the course with his buddy when he suddenly witnessed the alligator roaming by and took video footage of it on his cell phone.
Even though this encounter seems like a rare sight, Buffalo Creek employee Wendy Schofield says that the 15-foot-long alligator regularly interrupts golf games.
“He doesn’t bother anybody and they don’t bother him,” Schofield told CBS Miami. “He’s like a mascot for the course.”
