A man in his late 20s was killed on Monday after crashing his motorcycle in the community of Hidden Valley.
The collision happened at around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Hidden Ranch Boulevard N.W. and Hidden Valley Drive N.W.

EMS said bystanders were trying to revive the motorcyclist when they arrived. The victim suffered serious injuries after striking a tree along an adjacent boulevard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other injuries reported.
The Calgary Police Service traffic unit is investigating what caused the crash to occur.
