Missing Montreal man could be camping near Ontario provincial park: police

MONTREAL -Police believe a man who went missing almost two weeks ago may be near Sandbanks Provincial Park near Belleville, Ont.

Dimitri Drjazgin, 46, has not been seen since he left work in Montreal’s Cotes-des-Neiges/Notre-Dame-de-Grace borough May 16. Drjazgin owns a car but it was left behind at his workplace.

Family members are worried and say his absence is unusual.

Police initially thought Drjazgin might be found in Montreal’s Cap-Saint-Jacques Nature Park but new information has led them to believe he could be camping in or around Sandbanks Provincial Park.

Before his disappearance Drjazgin also mentionned a possible trip to Vermont.

Drjazgin is described as white, with brown hair and green eyes. He stands 5’9″ tall and weighs 200 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
