Police are asking for information from the public after they say a man was seen being beaten and abducted in west-end Toronto.
Toronto police responded to a call of an abduction on Albion Road, near Martin Grove Road in the neighbourhood of Rexdale.
Police said two suspects approached a man in the parking lot of a plaza at 1620 Albion Road, punched him repeatedly and forced him into the back seat of his own vehicle before driving away.
Neither the suspects nor the man seen being forced into the car have been identified and police said the investigation is ongoing.
The suspects are described by police as follows:
- Male, brown, with a stocky build, aged 18 to 20 years, with slight facial hair, wearing a white baseball cap and white T-shirt with horizontal stripes.
- Male, brown, with a slim build, aged 18 to 20 years, wearing a hooded top and a baseball cap.
Police said the man who was assaulted and forced into the vehicle is described as having brown, light skin, also aged 18 to 20 years old, clean shaven, black hair that is bushy at the back, with a skinny build and medium height.
The vehicle is described by police as a dark-coloured, four-door car with a sun roof, which looks similar to an older Nissan Maxima.
