In a statement police say the “driver made inappropriate sexual advances towards her, which she declined.” A short time later police say the woman was sexually assaulted.

She was eventually dropped off at her destination which is when she called 911.

A week later police say the accused went to her home and offered the woman money in exchange for dropping her complaint.  She again called police.

Mohinder Sarkaria, 55,  has been charged with sexual assault and attempt to obstruct justice.
