Calgary police locate vehicle belonging to homicide victim Tyler Sanderson

Police have successfully located a vehicle believed to be involved in the deadly assault of a young Calgary man over the weekend.

Tyler Sanderson, 24, was found badly injured in the 5500 block of Maddock Drive N.E. at around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday.  He was rushed to hospital where he later died.

Sanderson’s death is Calgary’s seventh homicide of 2016.

Police announced Tuesday that they were hoping to locate a light-green 2001 Ford Expedition with Alberta licence plate AA8565 which Sanderson had been driving at the time.

On Wednesday, police confirmed the vehicle had been located that morning.
