Police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspects in daytime North York shooting

Police have released a description of two suspects wanted in connection with a brazen daytime shooting in North York and are asking the public for help identifying them.

Toronto police responded to reports of a shooting at the CF Shops at Don Mills, near Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East, just before 3 p.m. Sunday.

A man got into an argument with two other men, at which point police said one of the suspects shot him. The two suspects then fled the scene in a dark four-door car before police arrived.

The victim walked into a restaurant at the shopping complex after he was shot outside and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, police released a description of the two suspects:

  1. Male, white, mid-30s, with light-coloured hair, wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.
  2. Male, white, mid-30s, with dark hair, wearing a jacket and blue jeans.

Police said both suspects are considered armed and dangerous. If seen, call 9-1-1 and do not approach.
