Man dead after shooting outside Brampton bar

Peel Regional Police have identified the victim of a shooting outside a Brampton bar Friday evening.

Police said they were called to a parking lot outside of the bar in the Lisa Street and Dixie Road area, south of Queen Street East, around 9 p.m.

Emergency crews found 24-year-old Kadeem Bascombe with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Peel Paramedics rushed the Mississauga resident to a Toronto trauma centre where he was pronounced dead.

Police haven’t released suspect information.

Bascombe is the region’s sixth homicide victim this year.
