Medical condition cause of 3-vehicle crash in Saskatoon

Police say a three-vehicle crash in Saskatoon happened due to a medical condition experienced by one of the drivers. The crash happened just before 7 p.m. CT at the intersection of 20th Street West and Avenue P South.

Investigators say a southbound vehicle on Avenue P failed to stop for a red light and collided with two eastbound vehicles on 20th Street.

The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 33-year-old Saskatoon man, died as a result of the medical condition, the details of which have not been released.

One of the drivers of an eastbound vehicle, a 62-year-old man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
