MONTREAL – Canadiens star defenceman P.K. Subban and iconic rapper Snoop Dogg are picking their teammates as they get ready to face off – on the basketball court, that is.

“Snoop Dogg and P.K. Subban will be joined by a star-studded list of players, celebrating youth, the values of teamwork and good sportsmanship,” states the press release.

“This will be the first time for Montreal to host to this many celebrities in one single charitable event.”

It’s all part of Montreal’s F1 Grand-Prix festivities, in collaboration with Just for Laughs, JKA Entertainment and the borough of Verdun.

The celebrity basketball game will take place on Saturday, June 11 at the Verdun Auditorium.

Proceeds will benefit the Montreal Children’s Hospital, through P.K. Subban’s foundation, and the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL).
