Meghan Trainor pulls ‘Me Too’ video after her body allegedly Photoshopped

On Monday, Meghan Trainor released her music video for her latest single, Me Too, which she quickly took down.

Trainor took to Snapchat to tell her fans, “They photoshopped the crap out of me.”

The 22-year-old pop singer took the Photoshopped Me Too music video off of Vevo and YouTube early Monday afternoon with the promise to release the unedited version.

“My waist is not that teeny,” the singer said in a series of Snapchat videos posted on Monday.

“I didn’t approve that video and it went out to the world, so I’m embarrassed.”

The All About That Bass singer is known for promoting a healthy body image and she helps encourage young women to embrace their body shapes.

Word of Trainor’s altered figure was first noted by fans who took to social media to post images of her unrealistic waist in the finale of the music video.

This isn’t the first time that the pop star has been a part of digital alteration accusations.

Her cover for the May issue of Seventeen magazine was also questioned by many fans.

Some people commenting on the Instagram post lamented the body alterations.

“They should let her be her real size which is beautiful,” someone commented.

“Doesn’t her head not look connected to her body?” one Instagram user asked.

“I like how it says in bright and bold pink letters ‘love your body,’ but they Photoshopped the crap out of her,” another user mentioned.

An unaltered version of the music video, from the singer’s latest album Thank You, has now been posted online.
