Surrey RCMP investigate targeted shooting in Newton

Surrey RCMP are investigating after shots were fired between two vehicles in Newton Monday night.

Mounties said they received reports of shots fired in the 7200-block of 152 Street around 7:45 p.m. The incident appears to have involved a vehicle that targeted a white Chrysler and then fled the scene.

Police said no one in the Chrysler was shot, however, one person was injured by broken glass.

RCMP believe the incident was targeted.
