Halifax police are hoping to speak with anyone who may have seen a car they believe was in the Mount Edward Road area the night Joseph Cameron was killed.

Police hope someone who may have seen a dark blue 2012 Kia Rondo in the area of Mount Edward and Spring Avenue between midnight and 5:20 a.m. on March 29.

Officers were called to the Dartmouth scene at 5:20 a.m. after reports of shots being fired. They found Cameron dead on the sidewalk when they arrived.

Police said Thursday that they’re continuing to sift through tips in relation to the homicide.

Cameron’s homicide, along with three other recent shooting deaths in Halifax, were recently added to the Major Unsolved Crimes rewards list.
