Man facing charges after allegedly robbing a man selling a cell phone

Halifax Regional Police have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a 21-year-old man who was trying to sell his mobile phone.

Police say the 21-year-old victim was assaulted with a knife last Thursday night and suffered a cut to his hand.

Several stolen phones were located by police while searching for the suspect.

A 24-year-old man from Dartmouth was arrested Saturday and was to appear in court Monday on charges including robbery with a weapon and assault with a weapon.
