She was taken by ambulance to Chinook Regional Hospital, where she died a short time later.

An investigation suggests the mother and daughter had been involved in an argument that ended in Shelley’s death. Jessica was arrested at the scene without incident.

An autopsy was conducted Friday morning in Calgary and confirmed Shelley died as a result of a stab wound.
