Drake reveals ‘Views’ tracklist and global listening party premiere

Drake will be hosting a global listening party for his new album, Views, on OVO Sound Radio before the album is released.

Listeners will be able to hear ‘The 6’ god’s special edition on Beats 1 Radio on Apple Music Thursday, April 28 at 10 p.m EST.

An interview with Drake by Zane Lowe will also be included.

For months, the former Degrassi: The Next Generation star had the world believing his new album would be titled, Views From the 6.

Universal Music Canada sent out an email to media on Wednesday stating the name change.

“Just to clarify, the new Drake record is officially entitled Views — no longer Views from the 6.”

Drake followed up the statement by releasing the track list for the album with the title, Views, at the top.

The album includes “One Dance,” “Pop Style” featuring Jay Z and Kanye West, and “Hotline Bling” as a bonus track. Previously leaked tracks, “Controlla” and “Faithful” are also included on the album.

On Sunday, Drake released the album cover for Views on Instagram.

He shared the cover art while he was at his pop-up shop on Dundas Street West in Toronto handing out free T-shirts.

The caption read:

“To the city I love and the people in it… Thank you for everything #VIEWS”

April 29 will be an important day for the Canadian rapper’s career. Not only will his new album drop, but tickets for his “Summer Sixteen Tour” will also go on sale.

What A Time To Be Alive collaborator Future will join Drake for the concert series.

The 30-city tour will also include two shows at Drake’s OVOFest in Toronto on July 31 and August 1.
