Trial date set for accused more than 2 years after Strathmore homicide

A trial date was set Friday for the man accused with the first-degree murder of a woman in Strathmore in January 2015.

Glenn Randall is set to stand trial May 1, 2017, for the death of his ex-girlfriend, Brenda Walker.

Walker and Randall were involved in a relationship that Walker ended in 2014, but RCMP said at the time there were no reports of domestic violence leading up to Walker’s death.
