Snowmobiles, quad, among stolen property recovered by Saskatoon police

SASKATOON – Police say they have recovered a number of stolen items following two searches in Saskatoon. The search warrants were executed Thursday morning in the 200-block of McMillan Avenue and the 200-block of Avenue N North.

Among the items recovered are six snowmobiles, a Kawasaki quad, kayaks, electronic stereo equipment and a power generator.

Police also seized approximately two pounds of marijuana.

A 38-year-old man is facing a charge of possession of stolen property and another of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear Friday morning in Saskatoon provincial court.

Police say they continue to investigate and that more charges are pending.
