Victim of Bridgeland stabbing suffers serious injuries

CALGARY – One man was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after a stabbing in the community of Bridgeland.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of Colgrove Avenue N.E. at around 7:25 p.m.

Police said it’s believed the victim was hit by a vehicle in addition to being stabbed.

The victim was rushed to hospital in serious, potential life-threatening condition.

Investigators said the victim and the offender were known to each other. However, police didn’t have any suspects in custody as of Wednesday morning.
