Alberta woman wanted for murder turns herself in to RCMP

A 28-year-old woman, who was wanted for second-degree murder, turned herself in to RCMP on Monday.

An arrest warrant was issued for Florencine Leandra Potts on Friday after she failed to appear in Wetaskiwin Provincial Court.

Potts, who lives in Maskwacis, Alta., turned herself in at the Wetaskiwin RCMP detachment.

RCMP said Potts was taken before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody until her next court appearance on Thursday.
