Yes, you read that headline correctly. Beefcake actor Vin Diesel, known for his work in the Fast and the Furious franchise and other movies like XXX, had a lifelong dream of singing with a gospel choir. Who knew Diesel had the singing chops? (He really does, as you can hear in the video, above.)

While on set for XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, which is currently shooting in Toronto, Diesel had the opportunity to visit a church because they were filming a scene there.

“I just wanted to say that a dream of mine has always been to have the confidence to sing in a choir. Although my grandmother would take me to the choir every weekend, I never had that little bit of confidence to get up there and sing. So since I’m in a circle of love with Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale, I am going to attempt what I thought was not possible.”

Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale, a 13-member choir, was on set as they shot the XXX follow-up, and the group decided to indulge Diesel by singing popular Sister Act song, Oh Happy Day.
