KELOWNA – The lineup of musical acts has been announced for this summer’s Monster Energy Center of Gravity festival in Kelowna.
The more than 30 artists include eight-time Grammy Award winner Skrillex, Dutch Dj/producer Afrojack and hip hop hotshot Ice Cube.
Other feature artists include Machine Gun Kelly, Showtek, Kid Ink, Destructo, Party Favor, NGHTMRE, Vinai, Stickybuds and SNBRN.
“Festivals have an amazing way of creating powerful connections and shared experiences between like-minded people, says festival founder Scott Emslie in a news release. “It has been a great journey seeing MECOG grow. I’m thrilled to see the level of talent we have been able to attract for this year’s festival.”
Along with the musical acts on four stages, more than 150 international athletes will compete in seven sports at Center of Gravity.
The events include wakeboarding, freestyle motocross, skateboarding and BMX.
The festival runs from July 8-10 at City Park.
