CALGARY – WestJet took to Twitter Friday, trying to find the owner of a ring left behind on a recent WestJet flight.

“It’s a beautiful piece of jewelry and certainly one with sentimental value,” WestJet spokesperson Lauren Steward said. “We would love to get it back to its rightful owner as quickly as possible”.

Staff posted a picture of the ring on social media and asked for help to reunite it with the owner.

Stewart said the ring was found in a box from an identifiable jeweler but the jeweler said the ring was not their work as it is not stamped with their mark.
