On April 23, 2014, a worker was thrown from the cab of a tractor west of Burr, Sask.

Humboldt RCMP said the 19-year-old man was driving on a grid road when the bucket on the front-end loader came in contact with the road ejecting him from the cab.

Emergency services were called by a passing motorist but the man, from Muenster, was pronounced dead.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation requires all workers be trained before operating powered mobile equipment on the job and employers must keep records.
