Winnipeg Jets fan favourite ‘Kroppy’ makes emotional comeback at Wednesday’s game

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Jets fans were treated to a special surprise at Wednesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators, as a familiar face appeared on the jumbotron.

Len Kropiosky, much better known as “Kroppy”,  returned after missing games for a couple of months because of health concerns.

Kroppy became a household name for Jets fans after the club regularly featured him on the jumbotron during each home game.

The crowd was ecstatic to see the military veteran back in his seat. The standing ovation even brought Kroppy to tears, as he blew kisses towards the thousands in attendance.

Kroppy will turn 98-years-old in July.
