John Boyega would like to share “Star Wars”-related info with fans – but don’t expect too many spoilers.

The self-anointed “fans’ fan” said he would try to reveal as much as possible about 2017’s “Episode VIII” to his social media followers.

“I’m the fans’ ear, so as much as the fans want to know and as much as I can tell them I will,” he said in London Tuesday night (29 MARCH 2016) at a fan screening for “Secrets of the Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey” – a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the record breaking international blockbuster.

“There’s a deleted scene in ‘Force Awakens.’ It didn’t make it into the actual movie, but it was a gem regardless. Finn and Han are cornered by Stormtroopers and Maz Kanata uses the force to get us out, so it was a really, really cool scene, but you get to see a deleted scene,” Boyega said.

The follow-up to “The Force Awakens” is written and directed by Rian Johnson and is due for release on 15 December 2017.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is out on Digital release from 11 April and on DVD/Blu-ray on 18 April.
